So grown up!

Each day I'm realizing more and more that I have a little girl and not a baby any more.... She looks so grown up with her pigtails and big girl clothes!!
I LOVE this little girl!!!!

Library time

So we HAD to get out of the house after being stuck inside so much lately. Knowing that the weather was only going to get worse on Friday, we took a trip to the library Thursday morning.

We got there in the middle of story time. Lillie flunked out of story time. It was fun, but Lil was more interested in running out of the room or standing directly on front of the lady that was reading (and blocking everyone's view). We need to work on our proper etiquette for sitting and listening in a group setting!!

Reading a book to herself after story time.

Apparently, all that reading wore her out!!

I can't hear you...

In the car last week I was entertaining Lillie--singing, counting, etc and I turn around to see this:

Apparently she did not like what I was singing! Don't worry, Nathan was driving.

In a nutshell....

So obviously I'm a terrible blogger.  I think we just all need to agree that I'm not going to be one of those people that post every day or every week.  :-) I have good intentions, but it just doesn't happen sometimes.
That being said, we had a wonderful Christmas.  We visited Nathan's parents a couple days before Christmas and then headed to Mississippi to spend time with my family.  We got to see both of my brothers and their families, which is always very fun and busy! There are five grandkids on my side of the family, all under the age of four so things get a little wild when we are all home with the kiddos.  It was great fun and I love making memories and seeing Lillie play with all her cousins.  My sister in law has some great pictures on facebook of all the kiddos, but I have not figured out how to get them on here.  So--here is just a few pictures of our past month (or two!) I'm not sure why some of the pictures look a little distorted--maybe I need a blog tutorial since it seems to be a long/technically difficult process for me.  :-)

Climbing on the gifts
Lillie got a tent and tunnel for Christmas.  She lines all her babies up inside the tent.

Enjoying a snack with cousin Anna Kate.

Having so much fun at the Lewis lights, right outside of Hattiesburg with Grandmother and Granddaddy.  Every year this family puts up a huge walk through light display.  It has become a family tradition to go each year.
We took Lillie and her cousins Will and Maddy to a bounce house.  They had so much fun and burned off lots of energy!

Little dare-devil!!  She LOVED the really big slides!
Looking super cute at the annual Odom's New Years Eve party.
Enjoying the big January snow!

Playing with Daddy in the snow!

Christmas Traditions

Lillie enjoying the cookie that was almost as big as she was!

VERY excited about her cookie! I think she only ate about two real bites and gnawed on the rest and dropped it on the floor.

Huge gingerbread house!

Family picture in the sleigh
We decided to have some fun family time during this Christmas season.  We took Lillie to the Gaylord Texan Hotel to see all the decorations.  It's has some really impressive decorations including huge trees and life-sized ginger bread houses.  We had a blast!! I love making memories and starting our own traditions for our little family!

Godzilla

We jokingly call Lillie "Godzilla" at times because she can be slightly destructive at times.....  This is the front of our cabinet in the kitchen.  The other night we were all hanging out and playing.  Lillie went around the corner to the kitchen and we heard this loud crash.  I ran to the kitchen to see that she had yanked off the front of the cabinet.  She had never played with it before and it wasn't loose.  Apparently she thought it was a drawer and decided she needed in it.  This was also the same day we had to put a child lock on our silverware drawer because she is tall enough to reach in and grab the knives (Yikes!)
